Shane Van Boening won the last All Around against Efren Reyes in TAR 34 . Efren offered to play again with his choice of games. Here it is. February 7-9, 2014 the greatest player ever will face Shane Van Boening in an “Efren’s Choice” All Around. 1 Pocket, Rotation, and 9 Ball. The match will take place at the TAR Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The match will be available to watch live via streaming Pay Per View. A very few seats in the studio will be available and up for sale soon.

Match Schedule:

Friday February 7: One Pocket Race to 11

Saturday February 8: Rotation (Set length to be determined)

Sunday February 9: 9 Ball Race to 25

Each days play will begin at 8PM Eastern/5PM Pacific

We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a great match. Any chance to see the great Efren Reyes in action is not to be missed.

I want to thank Brook Thomason for helping to put this together. Working with Efren on TAR 34 was one of the highlights of my time with TAR. I am looking forward to seeing him back in the studio. I am very thankful he wanted to come back. I thank Shane for stepping up to play a legend in his choice of games. I know Shane respects Efren a great deal and is looking forward to playing him again.

Really looking forward to this one.

TAR 34, Efren vs Shane - that One Pocket night was one of the best, exciting, most enjoyable streams I ever watched.

Efren always steals the show! :grin:

More history forthcoming baby!

wow, If this doesn't make em look, I'm not sure what will...

There's a great storyline with this one. On the one hand, you have a living legend, arguably the best all around player ever, playing a new legend-in-the-making, who might be the best US player from the last few decades. Does the old guard have yet one more flashback performance? Will the new kid expand his list of accomplishments? How will Shane handle the Rotation match up? Is it too late to book a flight to Vegas?

Fvck. I might have to skip the ar15.com forum and put surfing porn on hold, for this one.

Yes. I will have studio seating set up for sale Monday. It will be done like I have in the past where you pick the days you want to come and pay through paypal for a confirmed seat. There will be nine or ten per day available I am waiting to hear from some people to see what going to be available.

What rules will they use for Rotation? I hope they don't play BIH Rotation like Reyes and Alcano played a few years ago. (Only Rotation match on Youtube!)

I would prefer they play the old BCA rules of incoming player as the option of passing back to the fouler or even the filipino Rotation rules like they used in the accu-stats match between Reyes and Bustamante.

IMO Rotation is more interesting without BIH rule.

Up to Efren. I honestly don't know anything about rotation except its played with fifteen balls and it goes to 61 points. I dont even know how many games the set is going to be because I dont know how long its supposed to take. Thats why I put TBD next to the rotation part. I have to hear from Efren on what he wants to do.

This all came together in a couple days through texts. Normally i wouldn't do something this way but if Efren wants me to move the table into the parking lot I would.

I watched Efren practice some 15 ball rotation at the US Open years ago and it's going to be a treat to see the "Magician" come with some shots most of us would never think of.

Awesome. Looking forward to all 3 matches. Seeing Efren maneuver the CB in the thicket of rotation will be a treat. There is something about Efren's CB control that is unlike anyone else. He can billiard the CB 3 rails around the table and stop it within an inch of his target. Cool to see.
