This is the truth. I think Ali was great, pound for pound titles I dislike.

I liked Ali's banter with Howard and the rest of the world. He was special in many ways but still a draft dodger who didn't want to do what his country asked of him and he had enough money that he could afford to fight them and win.

Sugar Ray racked up 100 wins with one loss against Jake La Motta who had 14 lbs on him. Ray's first lost in some 65 fights . Went on a tear again after that .
Usain Bolt's stride is so long he can take like 2 less strides in 100 meter.
Mike Tyson or any other heavyweight had nothing on the fast lighterweights like Paquiao for example. Plus it's not only about handspeed, it's also footwork and the pace they can maintain. In general it's smaller is advantage speed bigger is advantage strength. What's interesting is power is a combination of strength and speed. There are some powerful little men and of course some powerful big men as well.
