Yes can we please get a verification for start times?

I thought it was 4am central today and it was actually 3am.

2 Ko's and Wu!

Shane is the underdog in every possible match.

Lmfao. Are you retarded? Not one of them would gamble with Shane at any rotation game. The level of sheer stupidity in here is astounding.

Tell you what, since you think Shane is the underdog, I'll take him in the semis for ANYTHING that you want to bet.

This time he is not, I think it's a fair coinflip

Have you been watching the tournament?

Shane was gifted all the way to the sweet 16 by luck of the draw... he played horrible starting out against Chang... then he started out rough against Orcullo dogging the one. After he smelled blood he turned it on for sure but Wu and big Ko have played like Shane did against Orcullo all tourn long. Little Ko has been playing great too.

Based on his performance against Orcullo, I'd say that Shane is formidable against any of the players left. Can't say it'd be a shocker for a Little Ko vs Big Ko final, though.

Imagine little Ko won the whole thing- that'd be unexpected.

It's sick that ko brothers are in the semis of the last world 10-ball and now the world 9-ball. Are they aliens ??????

There is always an excuse why Shane does good. The rack, the luck of the draw, the hearing aids. 44-14 in two days in alternate break is pretty damn good in any field in 9 ball.

Almost all of them
He also played few W8B and W10B
This is by far his best performance in a World . He has never finished above 5th
And for past few years I have seen him play, this is also his best performance so far, few hiccups, break and run pool, awesome shotmaking. But again in past matches I have seen him, he is always strong when ahead and the hiccups come when he falls behind.
Composed was word someone was using. Let us hope he remains composed when he is behind
.

I think Shane's play in this event (at least in the matches I have watched) was subpar all the way through the second game of his match today with Yu-Lung Chang (Shane missed 4 shots in the first 2 games of that match!). But then, for the remainder of the Yu-Lung match Shane played pretty well while also benefiting greatly from inferior (for him) play from his opponent. My expectations for Shane for the Orcollo match were not sky high. And look what he did.

This is truly a fickle game. I think Colin Colenso spoke about that earlier in this thread. How will Shane do tomorrow? Winning the next two matches is quite a challenge, but he is certainly capable of meeting it.

The draw always helps, but if SVB snaps it off, "luck" won't get you through Orcullo, Ko (Pin Chung), and either Wu or older Ko overseas is just monstrous.
