It's over. John was playing much better than he was at the start of yesterday's play, but underhit a carom early and left Lou in the right place to make a tough, thin cut combo near the spot. Last game 8-3.
 
Glad Lou showed some class and shook JB's hand.

Hopefully the fighting is over with.
JB can go back to making beautiful cases.
And Lou can go back to doing whatever Lou does lol

Its like end of an era. It was a good match. Congrats to both men.
 
A big props to both guys for putting the money where their mouths were. Another big props to toughing it out. Congrats to Lou for pulling it down.

John put up more of a fight than I'd have believed, showed some heart out there.
Both were dignified at the end of the match. I hope this somehow worked out
their hostility and they can be peaceful on the forums to each other.

I'm only hearing bits and pieces, but it sounds like JB is trying to convince Lou to meet Stan Shuffet and see if spending time with him changes Lou's opinion on aiming systems.
 
Jeezus they sit on the Internet arguing about aiming systems, and now they meet in real life and what do they do? Argue about aiming systems.
