I'm trying to get caught up after a trip to the expo then a business trip right after that.

I must say that Josh Treadway made a huge impression with his work displayed at the Super Billiards Expo. His work really got my attention without a doubt. He is already at a very high level in his cuemaking career, but he has a ton of passion for what he does and there is no question he will continue to escalate his game.

I picked up a couple cues from Josh at the show... first one is an Ebony, Ivory, and Copper cue that has a very unique and elegant design. The second is a 6pt cue with a traditional feel. The brass rings really help set this cue off. Josh is making a set of fancy matching joint caps. This cue will be for sale soon.

I also have a fun project started with him, and I plan on posting progress pics of the build.

I am very good friends with Josh and have seen his progression in the last few years and i think he has evolved faster than any cue maker ive ever known and through my uncle who has one of the biggest collections of extremely high end cues iv met anyone who is anyone during the last 10years.

I consider him a very good maker that is always getting better because he truely loves his work. But more importantly he is a good-i mean great person. You simply will not find a nicer more honest cue maker in the pool world. In a world that is tainted by a few cheats- egotistical - self proclaimed geniuses - it is very nice to have someone so down to earth and talented as Josh Treadway.

And no i dont play with a Treadway- I play with a Gilbert, but I will own one of Josh's cues as a wall hanger

As good as your pictures are, they still do not capture the beauty of the cues.

Josh was a pleasure to talk to and I enjoyed his fresh designs.

I really like the Ebony cue. The use of copper is appropriate and offers a different look other than silver.

Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful cues. They will certainly make theirs owners happy.
I have already posted in my own thread about how nice Josh is.He has been nice, kind, helpful and humble since the very start of our communication and all way thru.Actually,I cannot say enough how much I have enjoyed in our project on the cue he was building for me and talking to him.No matters he didn't know me from before he was enough trustful not to ask me for a deposit. He was informing me on progresses more than regularly and helped me with some other things that has no any connection with the cue or cue maker business.I will certainly stay in touch with him and continuing order cues from him. Also,I agree that his work is getting better each day although cues that he built at the start of his cue making career look great and amazing too.
I am glad that his goodnesses have been recognized and appreciated by others too and I find very important to inform people about how nice this guy is,so they don't have to risk with others who are not so nice, nor they build so good playing cues.Beside great customer service they get, they will have a great player built by precision and love.

As others have said, Josh is a great guy. I really like his approach to cuemaking and his passion for cues.

You are correct Chris, the picture do not capture the true beauty of the cues... especially the ebony cue.
