Trey,

Do you have wifi there?

Ray

Yes, and I still do not have that program for my laptop on running the tournament. We are planning on doing it the oldfashion way of drawing numbers unless you can bring that disk and let me load it up to my computer! Just get with me when you get here to get password for the wifi!

Yea, there are some good names in the field and most will show up on Friday so you shouldnt have a problem finding action. I'm glad to hear that you are coming and look foward to getting to see you play yet again!

Hey there Daniel. Whats up with our Friday night mini? 8-ball race to 3 both sides $25.00 entry sound okay? If so consider me signed up.

Big Daniel

Hey i also have a lot of people asking what time this mini will be so if you can post that info for these players.

Thanks,
Trey

The Mini

I guess the mini can start whenever we get enough people to start one. A $25 8-ball sounds fine to me Timmy. See y'all there.

Any results??

Trey,

I missed all the fun again!! Dammit!

So who were all the big winners?

Thanks,

Ray

WHo were all the big names there and who won? COme on, you gotta give us folks that didn't get to go the details. Please?

Tournament results

We had a total of 57 players in this open event and some of the top names in the field were Chen, Gary Abood, Joey Barns, Sam Monolie, Andy Jethwa, James Davis Jr., Billy Sharp, David Parker, Karl McClendon, and John Weeks. This was a fun field weekend of pool with 9-12 places going to John Weeks, David Parker, Randy Cole, and Roger Allan, all played tough. 7-8 spots went to Billy Sharp, and Gary Abood who both played great. 5-6 spots were claimed by none other than Bastrop Jr. & Chen who played just as strong as always. Jason Avate took a well deserved 4th place after playing tough all day. 3rd place was claimed by Doug Young from nowhereville but shot one hell of a stick. The hot seat was won by Sam Monolie who just seemed not to miss and Andy Jethwa fought his way back through Doug to have a second chance at Sam but Sam just proved to be to much for him despite his outstanding play! The tournament paid out a total of $9,350 and all the winners were well deserving. We plan on running this $1,000 added event every two months or so, so keep your eyes out for listings on tournament dates. Thank you to all the players and supporters who came out this weekend to make this an event to remember and we look foward to seeing you all again soon! And a special thanks to the staff at Salty Dawgs for hanging in there considering this was the first tournament we have hosted that was of this caliber.
