mike how about finding out the scoop on jeanette lees/canadian

club 1/2 million dollar match in vegas last week. i heard she

missed the case 8 ball and the insurance co. does not want to

pay the winners.
 
Hmm, this is the first I have heard about that one. Let me see what I can find out.

Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. If I remember right there was a tournament at the Mirage where something like that happened.

I believe this means she missed the match-winning 8 ball, as in "case game" meaning the match game. Other than that, I'm not really sure I know what they're talking about either.

well, whatever,,,,these people ought to know better than to create deals with pool players. but if there is an implication that JL is not playing an honest game, it makes no sense. it would do her absolutely no good to besmirch her image

I asked Jeanette about it and she said she had heard nothing of the sort. Of course, any insurance company is going to want to investigate the situation before they cut a check though.
