$1500 added event correct Jimbo?

Yup 1 thousand 5 hundred American dollars.
The money is coming from 3 people who knew and loved Larry hence the Memorial tourney, also Larry's son Lance should be there.

I don't have exact numbers, but over 60 players battled and Chuckie Altomaire beat Carlos Vierra in the finals. Mike Heath won the donated Joss cue in the break contest with a total of 6 points in 3 breaks (9 counted as 2) it was a tie with a 1 rack break off. 1 other player to mention, Larry's son Lance finished in the top 16 (not sure his exact place, sorry). Thanks to Dan Janes of Joss for the support as well as Sal Bev for throwing a great event and all the players who supported this event, Larry would have been proud.

Great turnout!.., Hat's off to Sal Bev and all involved in supporting this event!

Thanks for the update!

Just to set the record straight. It was Mike Keith that won the Joss cue in the break contest. The last name was wrong.

Oh, I can just picture Mike and Ed laughing as you type this. Sorry I missed the event. And it's always a rainy day when I miss the chance to pay my respects to you POOLWIFE;)
