1 Shot Every 10 Players Should Know

I also have 2 tables at home but I look at it differently. I didnt buy the tables to make other people better, I bought them to make me better. ;)
Even after 8 years I still don't get bored shooting by myself.

I rarely shoot at home these days, I'm really into competing right now
When I do hit em it isn't for very long,

I watched both videos and I agree with Black Balled Reply 100%.
Quote: I'd likely slow roll it too and if the 9 we're on the bottom rail and closer to center, I'd go 3 rails with L. It is exceedingly easy to judge cb path to arrive to the final corner either short or long, from the 8.

I watched your other video on Corey breaking 10 ball.
You ran out like water while "ONE STROKING" the cue ball. So many players would stand there with their finger up their ass brainstorming what to do, praying there is no shot clock, god help us when they have a dilemma.

Many people would say, including myself, that rack was a road map, a simple layout to run.
There is easy and then there is (IT'S EASY UNTIL YOU DO SOMETHING STUPID AND MISS A HANGER) then it's not so easy. Ask every world champ who dogged a hanger.
I'll take a guess you have a snooker backround. It's a plus for everyone who want to learn to share different styles and games, snooker to pool, pool to snooker etc.

At the end of the second video you seemed a little upset with yourself !!!DONT BE!!!
Pool players around the world would kill to draw with inside around the table as you did.
Players learned from your breaking video and you learned to slow roll for that shot.
So you made a video and had a brain fart ( Join The Club ) I fart all day.
Don't stop making videos it's obvious you have a lot to offer.

Hey guys!

A few people have asked me to to do a series of instructional videos on some shots every player should know but some players don’t know when they should know them. I made a test video and thought I’d post here for feedback. My goal is to cover some of the more basic shots that every player should know when playing shots they don’t know in a simple easy to follow format.

I hope you can learn something and let me know what you think I should know about making videos about a number of shots pool player should know! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

After some feedback, I think there’s probably better ways to play that shot:

Way too much talking and not enough shooting. Made absolutely no sense to choose to shoot the shot that way - nothing more than showing off. You’re bringing three pockets into play for a possible scratch on the cue ball. There are situations where a similar type three cushion position would be needed, but that certainly wasn’t one of them.

Maybe I missed it, but for the lower level players trying to learn a shot like this, it would’ve been key to mention that shot has to be hit with bottom right (inside) spin, which is what allows the cue ball to have running spin on it when it reaches the first cushion, which allows it to pick up speed to get around three cushions with no problem. Otherwise, the cue ball is going to die at the far end of the table. I applaud your efforts in putting out instructional videos.

wooooosh....

Holy crap. The guy makes a video with a simple little shot anybody can do to improve their game, and everybody gives him crap. I think we should ask Karl Moist what he thinks. Or PT Barnum.

Nothing wrong with demonstrating the shot - a valuable positioning play to have in your arsenal for a situation that requires it.

If he’d simply made the effort to set the 8 ball and 9 ball up in positions that would’ve required such a shot, I don’t think he’d have received the criticism he has here.

it's a parody...

He wasn't being serious. It's obvious. It's even more obvious if you watched the second video...

Holy shit...

Yeah I get it, I didn’t watch the second video until now, but now it all makes sense. Still a valuable shot to know. I should have known by the title of the thread that it wasn’t serious. What made it even better was the four minutes of rambling nothings before he demonstrated the shot!
