10 hours straight

I shot for 10 hours straight last night, I know for a lot of you thats no big deal but I usually only get to shoot about 2 hours a week if I'm lucky. I was in a ring game for about 5 hours then me and one of the guys from the ring game shot heads up for 5 hours. I'm only 37 years old but when I woke up this afternoon my back was killing me. Anyone else here ever feel great while they were shooting then later the ton of bricks hits you?

I recently got back into shooting again after a long, long hiatus. One night recently I went to the hall for the day, and I mean day. I also shot for ten hours and then woke up the next morning and boy did my back ache. I used to play like that about 7 years ago, I'm now 29. I think the more often one would shoot the less it would hurt, as in your giving your back a workout constantly. That's why you felt it becuase your used to playing way shorter times. Now your in the know and not alone!

It was worth it though, wasn't it?

I'm still young enough to play long sessions and not feel like a train wreck as long as I get some sleep. I'm sure this will all catch up to me in a few years, but I'll have fun waiting for it to happen.

weird, I'm no spring chicken but I've never had the back pain some people mention. I know it's not a stance or weight thing cuz I can see for example that a9ballbr8k has no issues with either, but he's getting some back pain at a sorta young age.

I dunno if it would help or just make it worse to suggest the back exercising machines at the gym? You start in a sitting position (but angled) and just lie back against the weight (I set the thing to 90 lbs and I feel like I can do like 300 no sweat).
