I watched him play on the TV table, and there is a talent and love for pool in this kid that is unreal. I know good players who have been playing pool for 20 - 30 years who can't use the bridge like he does. I watched him draw the cue ball down the table while using the bridge. He is also able to run the rack out on his opponent in front of a large crowd under the glare of TV camera's. I also had the chance to talk with him while I was getting his autograph, {right next to Corey's} and he is a very polite and knowledgeable young man. I will be watching for him in the future to do great things. Sam

Sam, Landon is a good kid and a very good pool player. I had the pleasure of speaking once again with he and his father Stan in Louisville. His dad keeps him heading in the right direction.

nice to meet you, Wally. Did you see the funny, mouthy
old man who was showing Landon some tricks? Who was
he? He was the one calling Earl "stricknine"

Not to meddle, but I think you might be referring to Bunny Rogoff (??Rogonoff??) - also referred to as Pots and Pans. On Wednesday and Thursday he was dressed up like Charlie Chaplin, complete with make-up, bowler hat, and cane. He was an old road player (and some think he was one of the best hustler's ever). Danny D. said that he had travelled some with him and that Bunny got hit in the head so many times that he can't think right any more. He definitely has a screw loose, but is very entertaining to be around.

I saw him Saturday. I didn't know who he was. At first I thought he would get himself thrown out but I soon realized folks were taking his quips in a good-natured way. He was pretty entertaining I must admit.

Thanks, Willie. Wally pointed you out to me Friday
but I didn't get a chance to say hi.
