sounds and looks like a great concept having to pocket a ball for a point and a
position required for where the cue ball must finish in order to shoot again.

It will grow on ya with whole different view and respect for the space of the table.

my home tables is gc3 pro 8 (8.5) with extended rails with simonis cloth. I don't find any difference ..very little.. with playing on tight 9'. Which group am in.

A long time ago ran 87 spot to spot shots on a bar table. Never did miss,.they shut lights off after letting me shoot 15 minutes after closing.

Spot Shots

Back in the 80s some guy came into our local poolroom asking if anyone wanted to shot spot shots for money. One of our best players took him up on it. I believe the rule was whoever missed payed the other guy (they played for either $20 or $50...I can't recall). You could only quit after your own shot. Our local guy, I believe, made 40-some consecutively before he quit (9' GC).

I used to practice spot shots. If you play a lot of one pocket, they come up a lot and they're almost always critical to winning or losing.
