Ran 68 today. Stating to get back into practicing. Maybe, I will down load the run in a few days, if I do not do better. Got some good music in the back ground "Cream".
Good job Mike! I finally strung together a reasonable run of 41 last night.
Too bad neither of us had record breaking runs in our match last weekend. I would have been happy with your run of 36. I know you run 36 in your sleep so it wasn't a big deal for you.
Thanks Jim:
41 ball run. That is good. You did that on another League match? Your game is getting better & better. Keep up the good work. You will win most of your matches with your improvement.
I had a good time. The table was really playing slow but it picked up when the air-condition finally kicked in around 3'clock. I think that I will try to set my other matches in the afternoon.
Nice run Mike
No. I was just playing at home Thursday night. I played again last night but couldn't get into the 30s. I had a 25, 26 and a 28. I still need to work on my consistency in making the break ball. I think I'm loosing accuracy trying to hit it too hard.
lately I've been taking extra time on the break shot. looking at it from all angles, giving yourself time to visualize the contact and rack explosion. Also, try standing back up if any thoughts of the rack enter your mind, the missed break shots for me happen if my mind isnt quiet and the object isnt the only point of concentration.
Good advise. Thanks. That's what I have been doing lately and it's working. I first look at how I want to hit the rack and then completely focus on making the break ball with the correct english and speed trying not to let the rack distract me.
BTW. I've watched many of your one-handed videos. They're incredible! I just about fall of my chair watching them. Your short-rack banks break and run is probably my favorite.
Thanks! lol it was awesome, my wife walked in and 3 tries later I ran out and I got to get her reaction on tape.
PS. Mr. Grasso, I watched your 105 ball run again and it motivated me to go out and try for a new record! Watch out!
