After about a month away from AZB I thought it was time to visit again :)

First of all, thanks TAR for the live-feed from DCC!!!

Anyway, read on Niels Feijen's homepage that he has joined the straightpool-challenge at DCC.

Each player pay $100 and get 12 attempts over 3 days, so 4 per day.

The 3 high runs per day get $300, $200 and $100. Then the highest run overall gets $1000 or $2000 and the top 8 high runs go into a single KO tournament. Winner takes another $2000. Had my first attempts yesterday.

Feijen openend with a 60+ and missed. Hit a 130 in the next Then a 15 and a 50+. Feijen won the highest run for the first day.

The next day he started with 114, then 126. Feijen has the top 2 highest run the second day.

Anyone know how John Schmidt, Ralf Souquet and Thorsten Hohmann is doing in the straightpool-challenge???

AZB.tv caught several racks by Niels on tape (see DCC day three report, it's in the end of 25-minute show), damn he missed so easy shot to break his run! Concentration requirements in 14.1 are very tough.
Bob Jewett, could you keep us posted? Probably in straight pool section or here?
