I just heard that Tom Karabotsos won and that some guys named Spencer, Schwartz and Jacobs have some sort of playoff to do to see who gets the second spot.

Does anyone know S,S or J?

I think I'd be less shocked if you told me the earth was flat, lol. :D

Thanks for the info, dmg.

There's a young fellow named Neil Jacobs in Chicago who plays pretty well. And Schwartz is likely the BD 8-ball columnist Larry Schwartz who lives in Chicago.

Tom Spencer would be the other person. All things being equal, he would be the favorite between these 3 with Larry S. being a close second.

Spencer,Schwartz (BLACK) and Jacobs is a very large Law Firm located on Michigan Ave.

Used them to handle a civil matter some time ago.

They enjoyed going to BENSINGERS for long lunches. Took a few lessons from a guy named ARTIE.:)

That may have been true in a perfect world, but I watched Schwartz and Spencer go at it on table 10 at Chris's Billiards. In case you don't know, that table is mighty tough, definitely one of the tightest in the Chicago area. The match was very intense, with both Schwartz and Spencer missing not a few balls. In the end, Schwartz prevailed. I forget the final score, but if memory serves, Schwartz bested Spencer by more than 40 balls.
