14.1 - stream quality?

The commentating has been mixed, but lots of it has been good. Upstate Al likes to get some variety in the booth, and that's a good thing when the event is so long. So far we have heard from Al Leon, Gene Mann, Steve Kurtz, Mike "Fingers" Badstubener, Larry Ross, Tom Karabotsos, Kevin Clark, Ed Culhane, Bob Madenjian, Tony Robles, Karl Kantrowitz, Jude Rosenstock, and Pete Margo.

One criticism I have of many of these commentators, as well as most others in all events, is that they rarely have their facts straight as to what has happened so far in the game (and in the event more generally).

Yes I was there behind the mic on Monday, didn't say too much. I'm a little out of stroke on my commentary and was taking it all in !!

I plan on going back on Saturday, and look forward to getting in the booth as long as they will have me !!!

Against my better judgment i bought the stream today-it's been excellent-no issues other than one commentator who is to me quite annoying. Hopefully he will not do many matches.

Thanks for the update. I'll have to check it out tomorrow on my day off.
 
stream quality has been fine for the 2 days i bought, working on the 3rd.

and the matchups today are stunning. i know little about the politics and finances being discussed in other threads, but i know a lot about 14.1, and every one of these guys belongs here:

11am Hohmann GER vs Orcullo PHL
130pm Filler GER vs Shaw SCO
5pm Van Boening USA vs Harriman USA
730pm Appleton ENG vs Immonen FIN

Yep, stream has been good so far today. Only had a few seconds one time where the audio got a little garbled, but otherwise perfect so far.
