First of all sorry for my bad English... and sorry if my question has already been asked before. I made a research on the forum but I didn't find anything about this subject.

I'm trying to find some stats about all the past 14.1 World Championships. Like the winners, the runner-ups, etc
Can you help me?
I made a long research on the net but I found just the last 8 editions (on wiki for example).

thank you in advance.

Here is some historical info http://charlesursitti.com/
Actually, it's a great deal of historical info.

Not complete but it's better than nothing... Thank you very much!

There is also appendix C in "Willie Mosconi on Pocket Billiards" listing World Pocket Billiard Champions from 1878 (Cyril Dion) to 1990 (Bobby Hunter). By adding the later champions from 2006 to present a list could be produced.

Willie Mosconi's book in no longer in print I believe, but should be able to be obtained from various book resellers.Willie had several books out, be sure you get the one identified ISBN 0-517-88428-3. It has a red cover.

Charlie's Ursittis's site is the most complete but there are errors. The January, 1923 Match between Greenleaf and Hueston was not a title match and the May,1928 match between Greenleaf and St. Jean was also not a title match.

Keep in mind that all the Diamond Emblems provided by Brunswick for 14.1 through between 1912 and 1926 were labeled National Championships. The organizations that worked with Brunswick on these tournaments sometimes called them "World Championships" and sometimes called them "National Championship". The American Press further confused the matter by sometimes refering to the winner as the Nation champion and sometime as the world champion.

General with a few minor exceptions Charlie's site has the right scores and is the best and widest source of information.
