i watched a little girl at Bk's in cinn. running out like tapwater. her name was lizzie and she must have weighed 90lbs soaking wet. anyone know the scoop on this mini hustler?

Elizabeth Lovely. This years female 14 & Under BCA champ. She is from Centerville and plays quite a bit at Airway billiards from my understanding. They did a nice article on her in the local newspaper around a year ago. I hear she is a very good player and only getting better.

yea shes a treat to watch. shes was at bk billiards with Ryan Stone who was playing Shannon Murphy, probably the two best young players in the state. It was definately the future of ohio pool playing that night. I heard liz made the money in a wpba event.

She did make the money in a qualifier. She shoots with no fear and a oh well attitude when she misses. I've seen her at Airway, Belmont Billiards, and Taylorsville tavern.

Lizzy was modest about her first place finish in the VNEA singles youth division. She said the field was small. I've seen her put plenty a grown man into the losers bracket. If her dad was to get her lessons at her early age she just could turn out to be the next Jasmin Ouschan. He may have or is planning to do this, either way she shoots damn good.

At Taylorsville the junior league is set up there. Its a treat to watch these players. They always put up a good showing at the VNEA juniors.

-Billy Thorpe (Fourth in youth division singles.)
-Harry Thorpe (he won the Artistic pool youth division at the VNEA juniors. Ninth in singles. His team finished second in the youth division.)
-Ryan Stone (he won the speed pool event and seems to always place in the top 2 in the singles every year in the VNEA juniors. Played on the first place Ohio State Buckeyes team in the majors division.)
-Alex Olinger (Ryans teammate finished 9th in singles I believe.)

I have left out quite a few names. The reason is some I only remember first names Rocky, Lucas, ect. the other reason is I might mispell a few names.

Why would you call her a "Hustler"?????

I assume he was referring to her as a player that most people would underestimate not actually a hustler that is gonna take you for your cash.

I was going to say. This post isn't nearly getting the flack that the Texas "Hustler" thread got. She's not a hustler, she's a pool player.

You heard right. Liz cashed for $600 by finishing tied for 33rd at WPBA Peoria in late July.

Ryan Stone

Me and my team got to play ryan stone's team almost three times at the VNEA JR's this year. we took 3rd place. if we would have beat the team that beat us out it would have been for the 3rd time. he is a great shooter and a pretty nice guy and for how well he shoots it is crazy that he is about the same age as me.

Liz

I first saw her play about 3 years ago at the VNEA junior nationals. I was amazed. She was playing in the youth bracket, and I would have guaranteed that there wasn't a girl in any division that could beat her. Give her a few more years and she will have her name on the VNEA Junior Wall of Fame more than anybody else.

I saw her gambling in the pool hall that same weekend. The South Dakota Kid was there watching her and he was even impressed. Big Nasty summed it up the best that weekend: Keep your head on straight and you will become something big!

She is impressive at a young age, hopefully she continues to become better.

It's great that Liz shoots strong for a teenage girl, but does anyone know how Shannon Murphy and Ryan Stone were playing and who won?

i heard that shannon won playing one pocket but couldnt get there playing nine-ball lost like $600. i think their going to play at BK's again soon.

the only comment that i have on this topic is that i hope she stays in school and continues to play pool. to win 600 for 33rd in an event is absured, by the way. women are way too overpaid because the men are idiots. no offense to any women player, but if i snipped myself i would be top ten immediately.

No need to castrate yourself and be humilated. Come to Charlotte and play Kelly Fisher some 9-ball. You can bet what you want and she will gladly humiliate you without you needing a sex change.

I had heard through the grapevine that Fisher has beaten some great men players in Atlanta. Now I cant remember...I want to say it was Jeff Abernethy I heard she beat for the cash up there.

That's a true statement, although I believe they matched up in Charlotte, not Atlanta. It was a 5 ahead set.
