Saw her play in the NAPT event in Herndon this weekend. She finished 7th/8th. What was really impressive was her poise at the table at that young an age. She beat Janet Atwell in a hill/hill match and made a pretty difficult shot to ice it.

I understand the kid has a 4.0 GPA and wants to go to Lindenwood University. Nice to see a kid playing pool with her head on straight.

Agree

I read a interview she did on Custombilliardcue.com and became a fan of hers. I also watched her win her noon match Saturday 7-1. She will be a force to be reckoned with.

Somewhere there is a Really proud papa! Wish my daughter liked to play.

April is the real deal; very impressive young woman.

A great player who works very hard at the game. Has had that poise at the table for a long time. So fun to watch and play against. A respectful opponent, gracious in victory and defeat.

Well done, and good luck, Amber.
A very good friend and one whom we are all proud of here at our local pool hall, I beg your pardon, sports bar and grill, is Tanner Neil, the number three man on the Lindenwood pocket billiards team. Tanner has just finished his second year at Lindenwood and is not only a first rate pool player, but a first rate student as well.
Go Lions, and go Amber.

I think she's playing in the Atlantic Challenge in Chicago in a few weeks. Like Mosconi Cup, Europe vs. USA, but for the youthsters.
