Is that the real name of the place ? 150 n Out ?
They are close to a Diamond, but not shimmed. Every table in there is very clean as well is all the equipment. I swear they polish the balls every day as they look brand new every time I come in there. Send me a message when ya come out and I'll come out and play a few.

Pretty cool and practical name considering that it is on RT 150 which has connotations in billiards as well.

I am moving up that way in the next few weeks - does this place have any weekly tournaments?
since u live in the area how is the gate city billiards 1 hole tourney/......... very strong and how r their tables ive read they r gc's r the pockets huge
They have an 8ball, 9ball and one pocket tournament there weekly. Outside of that you are pretty much in the center of tournaments. You can head south on I-77 to a bunch of tournaments in Charlotte, or you can head to Hickory to the Sunday tournament at Randolph's as well as ones in Greensboro.
Haven't ever been to Gate City since it's about an hour and a half....close to two hours from me.
I was there a lil bit ago and there are lots of tourney within about an hour of Charlotte.
You are gonna need a map, paper and a pen. And a phone!

My friend lived up there and still goes there to see family. He went to 150 and said it was a great room. I'm gonna go up there soon with him and can't wait to check it out. This is from their Facebook page.

Yea it is a pretty sweet room. I went there again today to practice and I got something to eat. I gotta tell ya it was one helluva burger.
One pretty neat thing I noticed yesterday is that they assign sets of balls to each table. If I am on table 11 (as I was today) I get a set of balls that says table 11. This seems like a pretty good way for sets of balls to not get overused like when you just stack em on top of one another.
They also clean the balls daily and I am fairly sure that they at least brush the tables daily.
