16 and 17 yr old from N.E. finished near top at SBE

Lucas who is form CT finished top 8 in the Men's Open (full field of over 1,000 I think) and Michelle from MA I am pretty sure finished top 4 in the Women Open.

Both have gone overseas before to play in the Jr Worlds 9 Ball after finishing top 2 at Nationals.

I think they were the youngest in their events by quite a bit.

I may have gotten the ages off, maybe it's 15 and 16. Our league owner did a facebook post with our group finishes and in there Lucas was listed as 15 and Michelle as 16.
 
Got to see Lucas on table 118. His last win.
He played great. And fast!

Looked young, we just assumed he was 18.

From the brackets, it looks like you are talking about Lukas Fracasso-Verner and Michelle Jiang?

Yes.

Here is a picture of the kids from our area, Lucas does not really play in the junior league with my son and the rest but he does come by for the Jr State Championships. My son is in the grey sweatshirt, Lucas is in orange next to him.

Left is Jayden, who is friends with Michelle's family. I think he finished 4th in the 14 and under event. Then my son, who sadly lost first round, he got 5-8th last time he played, Lucas, Michelle, Joe (of the cues), Andy who drove up with me and my son with his dad, Andy finished top 16 in boys. Tiana who is Michelle's sister and Vivian who is Jayden's sister. I think all got several rounds into the event.

Three of the kids in the picture have represented USA in the World Junior events, with one more that was not there, but all 4 were from N.E. with 3 of the 4 playing out of a single junior league in Ayer MA.

If you are in MA and some kid asks to play you, you may need a spot :)
