Congratulations. That table is already looking great. I remember my first venture on an old 5x10 as a kid. the small pockets looked so far away I thought I was shooting at a keyhole from the end of the table. Luckily I wasn't playing for much money at the time but I love those old 5x10s.

Very Cool. I can't wait to see how it looks.

And then, how the runs look on that big table. Very nice change from a 7 footer to a ten.

Looks like a Brunswick Sterling. Never seen one before. Very interesting. You'll love that 1.5" slate!

Cheers,
RG

Scott:

CONGRATULATIONS on not only stepping out of the barbox environment, but stepping out of it in the biggest possible way -- a 10 footer! And such a classic/rare one, too. Wow. Just, wow!

You'll find out (if you don't know it already) that your stroke will hone a great degree on the big track. Ball pocketing on the big track (and in your case, "biggest track" :D ) is not as "done deal" as it is on the small track.

Dying to see more pics!

Just finish leveling the slates. Wow was that a pain in the butt to level. The centerpiece have sex levelers and the end pieces have 9 levelers each. Now I am going to order the felt and hopefully I can be playing on it by the end of next week.

Looks like it is going to be a great table. Too bad it can't talk. Might be some great stories there.
I could always run 50 - 60 balls here and there. First time I played on a 10 footer I couldn't get thru a rack. So I gave up. Now had I had the desire to stay with the big table and get used to it I'm sure I could have done better with time. But it was a one time thing at a room that I was visiting out of town.

Thumbs Up

Looks like the start of a beautiful table. Can't wait to see the finished product.
A 10 footer...... My table is a 9 footer and I think those long shots are tough. I could imagine what it would like on a 10' table. You sure do have a Classic. Best of Luck.
