You tell me what kind of wood it is one of the members was kind enough to post pics of my table on here with 2 very clear pics of rails
Yeah those pics are not close enough to ID the wood on the rail caps. I agree with Ssonerai, the caps are definitely not BR though. A beautiful table for sure, but don’t think those caps are the work of BBC. I have played very little snooker, but aren’t there sights on the rails?

Thankyou for your input how close a pic of rails would you need to make a positive id on what type of wood they are perhaps you could screenshot expanded pic of rail and then expand again as blackballed did to identify what's hanging on my wall lmao

Kinda what I did here. The best pic to look at the caps is the one showing BBC plate, and I will reverse what I said, it does appear to be Brazilian Rosewood.

I am 100% positive it is authentic BBC 6x12 table and seeing as there is not even a word written or a pic of another one out there that it was a custom order and not many were made I appreciate you being able to ID the wood as I have no idea lol

Kirkdog, just for future reference on how to reduce picture file size on android.
In your picture gallery, click on the picture. When it opens there should be a pencil icon that shows underneath on left side, click on that, then you will see various options and 3 dots in the lower right. Click on the 3 dots, you will see an option in the lower middle that says resize, 60% will usually do it unless you have lots of photos. Then click save in upper right.
Its way simpler than it sounds.
If you want to try it, there is a forum labeled test on here that you can try it out. Just try one or two pics 1st.

Thankyou all help gratefully recieved I am not tech savvy at all

It has always been a snooker table it is 100% original totally unmodified who would modify a work of art that would be silly
Right, I was thrown off when CP thought it was a conversion. I might have thrown her off when I jokingly said convert it to a pool table with 3.75" pockets. Okay, now the thread is back in order!! :):)

'conversion' threw me off too. I did not notice the pockets remained rounded.

Now I gotta know more about the shootin pool blazer too?!??

They didn't remain rounded, that implies some things have changed. I don't think anything has changed. Blazer thing flew over my head?
Op said something matched his pool shooting blazer. I never even knew there was such a thing!

Remains rounded meant never changed in my most recent.

I thought I had read the once snooker table had been made into pool. Nope.
