I found a 1933 Brunswick. The thing that threw me off was that it is a wood bed. It's a thick wood, not cheap MDF, but a better material.

I need to know if this is a good purchase or not. They say it has the original date stamp and everything on the bottom. Is it true that brunswick once made wood bed tables?

Not that I'm aware of, and not in 1933...LOL

interesting..........

That would definately be a first for me.......
Any pictures?
You can always contact Brunswick and talk to their historian. That should be after they lost so many years of their records I believe...

if its not slate don't buy it as it will never be level and is more of a toy pool table. I have a toy Brunswick pool table(1920's wood bed) that took 3 times longer to put cloth on than a regular table, unless you like to torture yourself with a project don't bother.,

I also have a nice 6 ft half inch 3 piece slate table from Brunswick 1920's.

There are many kinds of tables but you need slate.

I've seen the add not worth the torture I keep looking at it kowing better. Every2-4 weeks he lowers the price.
