1970 Palmer

That 100% PayPal rating is reassuring to be sure.

But what is it? Where does it show?

Thanks

Kevin

I meant to say ebay rating.. Doh!

You are going to sell it on eBay?
That's great!
I'm prejudiced, but I think that's the fairest way to price collectibles. Let the market decide in a no reserve auction starting at 10 bucks!
Can't wait.
I'm a bidder!
Post the link here when you get it up!

Thanks

Kevin

Palmer Values

I'm not an expert but I have followed Palmer values for quite some time and they have fallen, in some cases dramatically, in recent years.

I'm not sure I have seen one sell for book value and would certainly sell any of mine for some of the values shown in the Blue Book. That Gold vs Silver foil value always baffled me.

There is a seller on eBay floating some Palmers at the moment. His starting prices are those from a half dozen years ago when the market was high. None of his have been selling.

They are also refinished cues which depending upon the buyer decreases the value. In my experience some of the owners of refinished Palmers I have encountered, have more invested in the cues than they are worth.

Just my two cents.

Beautiful Cue

I love the veneers. Takes me back. Way back.
Good luck with an awesome Cue.

That guy is from wantagh L.I. And I remember him years ago selling those same cues or ones like it LOL you never forget a seller from that area and palmers for sale

I do not know the seller, let me put that out there. Or at least not his screen name. However I will comment on the cue, 1500 for this cue if its straight is a good deal for a collector or someone that wants this style of cue.

I will say that this design did not officially become a line cue till the third catalog, and it was a 14. I will also add that I consider this an unofficial model because I have seen this cue in a first catalog configuration, a second catalog like this appears to be and the 14 from the third.

Here is Jimmy Caras' cue from the mid 60's, with a wrap by Balabushka. Same design just a different time.
