1970's Schmelke

Well got a clean one from an online estate auction...the pics were horrible and won it for $41....As far as I can tell its a 1970(ish) Schmelke D50---would be nice to see some of the other years of the Schmelke Catalogs(1971 thru 1979)...gonna clen it up a bit and hang it on the wall...

Very cool cue. And you got quite a bargain.

At $140 it cost like a Bushka in 1970. For some perspective, that's about $930 today.

Yes, the cue is rare, and very much because it was damned expensive in 1970.
