1983 Richard Black Cue / what is it worth?

This idiot Richard black thinks the finish is still wet and sucking into the wood after 25 years 😭🤣🤣🤣 I have had plenty of cues over 25 years old and this never happened to any of them. Just more proof he's been a shitty cue maker from day 1. I wouldn't give that hack $12 to refinish a cue of mine.
i believe the finish issue on this cue is, in my experience, an anomaly

are you comparing other execution results of RB cues with other cue makers who used similar equipment and manufacturing methodology such as: Jensen, EARLY Gina, JW, Scruggs, McDaniel, Schick......basically pre 4th axis CNC and inlaid points?

RB upper end cues which featured 4th axis CNC execution, PERHAPS in collaboration with someone i won't mention here, were on par with the best

i'm comparing apples to apples

RB cues "play" for a given individual is subjective

an entry level RB 4 pt, 4 veneer, piloted Iv joint, 59" cue with a kinda straight forearm was top three, out of hundreds upper end cues i've had, in terms of how it played/hit.

FF Iv jointed cues, one made by SCHICK and the other by G SZAM were the other two

SW cues were the most consistent in terms of play and top three in attention to detail and build quality with SEARING being # 1

lol, had time to ramble...
