Here is a 1984 One of a kind Richard Black that I might sell if the offer is reasonable. What would a cue like this bring in the secondary market, It was just refinished by Richard Black earlier this year,

I sold a couple of Blacks a couple of years ago and I would suspect if the market is the same now as then that it would bring around $1000.

$1000 is reasonable for his standard cue models, this cue is unique. Richard Black said it would cost around $3700 to remake this cue. I know that price is a stretch to get given the current market, I was just trying to get a feel if the market has changed much. I haven't been around the pool scene for about 2 years.

It might fetch 1400, but that is about the max here. The cue market is not very good to sellers lately. If you didn't need the money, just hold onto it. Someday there will be a greater appreciation for Richard's work and maybe the market will recover some.

A $1000 is way too cheap and $1700 is way too much......somewhere in between........I have a number in mind but bottom-line is it's the seller's decision regardless of what anyone posts.
Just on inflation alone since 1984, Richard would naturally think that way and he charges more today than 30 years ago but $3700 for a cue design like this is totally unrealistic....IMO.

I'll chime in a little. Unfortunately the market is what it is. Also you need to factor in that Richard has built a lot of cues, and there is a ceiling to this end of his market. Its a one off, which is great, but as someone with a little fancier one off, its a tough move.
I like the design, it's different, and in 1984 this was probably an upscale cue. Unfortunately times have changed.
Now also assume condition, if it rolls a hair off, people are going to want money removed. Dead straight to you, is someone else's' off by a gnats eyebrow. They won't be shy about picking it apart.
You can ask what you want, don't be surprised by the offers.

I love you guys with these low numbers !!!! ill take it for these prices that you are quoting !!!!!! and i have alot of room !! you guys are not takeing into consideration that this is a pantograph cue from a world clas hall of famer in his 70,s and this i believe is a one of a kind! you are all way too low Call me lets make a real deal! 734-693-3177 thank you Bill the man that sells alot of richards cues and has a pulse on the market!

I believe it was his last pantograph cue according to the original owner. But I forgot to verify this with Richard Black. If I was really selling this cue I wouldn't have posted it on here, but everything is for sale for a respectable price.
