Here is one of the very first cues Dennis made. Birdseye forearm with 4 ebony points. Dennis constructed the cue in it's entirety.3 shafts . Stainless joint, Irish Linen wrap. This is not a sneaky pete or made from a blank.
This is one of the best hitting cues I have ever shot with. The cue draws the rock like effortlessly. This cue is a real player.

Looks like you've put it to good use! Good to see an earlier Searing that isn't a re-worked sneaky pete.

That cue is way prettier than I thought it would be when you told me about it. I like his early stuff best. Nothing fancy but built solid. I had a old cue he did. It was a sneaky TS that had the joint redone and a extra shaft made by him actually two of them. I don't see how they could be improved on but Dennis swears the newer tapper is a great improvement. It played perfect. How do you improve on perfect?
