1P: How Many Tries?

i think you should have told him to go fu** himself. and then said if you need the money that bad all you had to do was ask and then quit the match. i had something similar happen to me playing 9 ball it was so frustrating and for what we were playing for it was completely uncalled for. it's surprising what integritty sells for these days

Lou, you and Dave (12squared) ought to play some time. I'd like to see who wins that game.

Maybe next year at the DCC?

Alex, I dan't know Dave. But it's good to know that if the match comes up I have you for a backer :-)

Oh, no! race to 50 3 cushion and race to 5 one pocket...
Wait, that was with someone else....

whatever happened with that game, Lou?

Wei, I think that was Deno and of course it never happened. Anyways, he has bigger problems nowadays than woofing at me :-)

Well, I pretty much did. And once I made the 13, I made sure to scramble his combo :-) that he worked on like he was in the finals of the US Open.

It made me realize I wouldn't want to gamble for anything significant with this guy, because there'd be nothing but problems...

what's the ruling if you fall accidentally and move a bunch of balls? Foul or loss of game?
I'd say he should be given the option of replacing the balls. If he did, you'd take a foul (owe a ball), and your inning would be over. If he didn't want to replace the balls, then the game should be re-played. The difference would be if the accident was considered to be a "foul", or an "act of God". I imagine that no matter who this happened to, there would be quite a discussion...;)

It certainly wasn't me, but it could be. This is a game I would be interested in playing. Of course, this is said from the comfort of my home office ;). If we are ever in the same place that has both 3-cushion tables & nice pool tables suitable for 1-hole, I would be game if you are.

Sounds like a fair resolution.

I really don't know who would win, you both play pretty good... way better than me.

Well if we're all three there, I'll introduce you two anyway.

What a jerk....anyways, what's the ruling if you fall accidentally and move a bunch of balls? Foul or loss of game?

I think the only thing to do here is restart the game with a new rack.
If I were the other guy I would explain that this was only gonna happen once...if you slipped and moved a bunch of balls again,it would be my win. After all, your footwear and balance skills are not really my problem right?
Seems fair to me anyway. Now that settles what to do with that game and there is an understanding going foward.

I would not expect to win just because you slipped the first time though...especially if I knew the table was in your favor before the incident. That seems a little underhanded to me.After all he didn't do anything to win the game and you didn't do anything to lose it,so one on the wire makes no sense at all.

I'm a nice guy and would have allowed the injury break (if time allowed),but I,in no way, would have felt obligated (other then doing the right thing). If you had to stop because you slipped thats not really the other guys problem either. If he's says the games continue you either rack em up or break down your cue imo.He would be an ass no doubt, but not entirely in the wrong.Just my thoughts on your post.

As far as the ten ball....just once.Period.ONE TIME.After that he's fouling balls....and its not even his turn at the table lol.
