10 Ball on 9′ Diamond Tables
Race to 8
Rack Your Own / Alternate Breaks

6pm Calcutta
Tournament starts immediately thereafter

$200.00 Entry (Includes $20.00 Green Fees – $15 Registration Fee ) $165 goes into the pot.

If the 10-ball falls into the corner pockets on the rack end, the 10-ball must be spotted and the same player shoots. If the 10-Ball falls into one of the other four pockets, it is considered a win.

3 consecutive fouls by same player equals loss of game.

Cue ball fouls only.

Push Out after break only.

Printouts of all rules will be available at the players meeting.

Players Meeting starts promptly at 6:00 PM
 
Just a heads up, this is the same weekend as the Mercer at rum runner Las Vegas.

Could the dates not be worked out so no clash, as you might lose a lot of players as most of the pros play in the Mercer each year.
 
That is unfortunate Lee. There is also a very nice event just outside of Houston that was just announced that same weekend as well. We did our best with the information that we had to schedule our tournament and not to conflict with events in our area as well as large events in other parts of the country. The dates cannot be changed, but we wish those other events the best of luck on their events.
We like to think of it in a glass half full manner and are happy to provide opportunity for many pro level players to have a chance to make some money that weekend! We are also happy that there are three great tournaments on the western side of the United States where both pro players and amateurs can compete in great events for lots of money!!
 
Why would you have professional players only? do you really think 32 professional players will come to the middle of no where?
 
There will be two events going on at the same time. There will be a 128 player 9 ball bar table amateur event as well as the pro event. And yes we expect to fill both fields since they are both big added events.

So there will be 32 pros playing on 6 big tables and 128 amateurs on 12 (?) bar tables?
 
Yes 6 9 ft. Diamond tables for pro 10 ball event, and 10 Valleys bar boxes for amateur 9 ball tourney. Str8Shots posted on Facebook that we are about 3/4 full in both events as of this morning.

Top Lady Payout is $500 (Added in addition to the $10,000)

So just 6 have entered the pro event?
This is the one I really want to see.
I don't care about the bar table event.
 
We are extremely happy to get the OKC boys at our event. Joey Gray and Chip Compton have both been announced and are coming to Felt for the Nick Varner Classic.

No measureman this is not the complete list of who has registered, this is just the ones that have been announced. I believe there are just a few spots left in the pro tourney. They are announcing them slowly to help build some anticipation and excitement for this event. They are first announced on Facebook, that is where the Str8 Shots advertising starts. Join us on Facebook!
