1st Kings Cup (19-21Nov2015)- EAST (Efren/Buste/Ko/Ko) v WEST(Mika/Darren/SVB/Albin)

Game 5. Probably the longest game of the event ends in a 1/10 combo by Ko.

3-2 Appleton

Edit -- this terrific defensive struggle after Appleton's dry break ended on Ko's 11th trip to the table.

Rack 2-Darren leads 2-0 after winning safety battle
Rack 3- Darren wins safety and running out until he hooks himself on 10 ball. He sells out and Little Ko runs out to be 1-2 behind
Rack 4- Little Ko breaks ball down, shot on 1 . He misses 2 ball and Darren runs out for 3-1 lead
Rack 5- Long long safety battle in this event . Finally
Darren shows 1 ball near 10 ball which is near corner pocket. Little Ko plays nice 1-10 combo to go 2-3 behind Darren. This kid's safety ganme is very impressive.
Rack 6- Little Ko breaks , balls down. Beautiful out in a not so easy layout. Little Ko ties the match 3-3 after down 0-2.
Darren breaking next

Game 7. Appleton dry on the break; Ko runs out and leads 4-3.

I've got audio but no video now.

Wow
East wins lag
East takes early lead 1-0 after they win safety battle
We have a match
:D

Darren now has the distinction of missing the easiest shot of the event.

With BIH (after Big Ko fouled by knocking the 1-ball off the table on a jump shot), Darren misses about a 1-foot slow-rolling shot on the 2-ball.

{He was leaning out over the table.)

2-0 East

West on hill of Cup 9-6. Need 1 more to win whole thing (I may be wrong but I think there is no prizemoney which is sad)
Mathematically , East can still win but they have to win all 4 remaining matches

Next up is 4x4 Efren/Buste/ Ko/Ko vs Mika/Darren/SVB/Albin
East cannot seem to win 3x3 and 4x4 . They have lost all 5 matches of 3x3 and 4x4
