I made these two cues for Charles and Jordan Chaplin who are John's sons.
These are early Christmas presents as both sons are in the military and are
being deployed overseas. I wish them good luck and appreciate their service to our country.
The top cue is for Jordan and has an African Olive wood forearm/butt sleeve with a twisted butterfly handle. The handle consists of: katalox, BE maple, bocote, sapele, locust, cocobolo, myrtle, holly, ziricote and andiroba.
The core is full length purple heart. Brass pin 3/8-10, Juma sleeves and butt cap.
The bottom cue is for Charles and has amboyna burl forearm/butt sleeve with
a twisted butterfly handle. The handle consists of 10 different woods.
The joints sleeves and butt cap are elk.
The shafts for both cues are the same: AAA maple, Micarta M ferrules and Ultra skin tips.

Hey Bob,

I don't know how I missed this thread. Both of my boys love their cues. IMO they both play awesome just like all of your creations.

Thanks for your promptness in getting these built as promised. These will be around long after we're both gone and hopefully will be handed down to the next generations of pool fanatics in the Chaplin clan.
