Create your own virtual machine, load windows on it and you can run windows applications anytime you want within a virtual machine on your computer. Its pretty easy to setup and you can experiment with different operating systems or more importantly have a windows machine for quick use.

Thx... I had windows as a second operating system and removed it. Wasn't worth the frustration. I was going to put the application on to run windows programs, but little scared opening myself to viruses.

If you use virtualbox you create a virtual machine. That machine is only on when you start the virtualbox program and start the machine so your risk of 'opening up' would only be open at that point. If you got a virus within that virtual machine on Windows, it would only impact that virtual machine and not your entire system. Just need the .iso files for whatever you want to try out. My work laptop has 9 different virtual machines created with different OS on them. Turn them on when I want to mess around, shut them off when done.
