Down to 2 players?

Are you going to drag this out to a 2 day tourney if you get down to 2 players? Like last time?

Why not make the losers bracket a race to 7 then it would be a LONG one day tourney>?

Does not matter !!! the only other thing that weekend is Millersbug tourney which may draw about 10 of your players and make it a 1 day event.

I will probably be forced to bring up Bergman, Eberhardt, and mountain man. See you then:rolleyes:

i think that even if i make it a race to 7 on the loser side and we get any more then we had the last time (34) it will be a 2 day event ....Did you see i changed the cal-cutta time to noon and play at 1:00 for guy like you give you a little more sleep and i think we may get a few more players that way also but we will see

thanks Sammy

Aj likes to stop in Hannibal and hit the KFC buffet,,while I prefer your steaks and Bud Lights. He is the player and I am just the sucker with cash and time. The later start time allows us to hit the KFC hannibal and make the auction which seems to be worth the drive on it's own.

How are you going anyway. It has been a couple of months. You still staking that premidonna? Crump was telling me he cleaned up on Anders last week? I wanted part but thought Bobby was playing better.

Your not in with this NICK dude? Are you? Don told me yesterday that some guy named NICK wants to play him too. Maybe we can go in and get some good side bets with NICK since he has plenty of $$$$ to blow.

Mark

No iam the 1 who told Crump about that guy and he can win a little bit but it takes a few plays he only will lose 600.00 -1000.00 when you play him but he will do that 3-4 times a week for a month or 2 .........sweet huh i will tell you more latter.....I have been doing great we have been having a lot of action around my place lately its in the air around here

From what Don said?

He solidly beat Bobby 25-16, I was offered part of that. Imagine my dismay when Don told me how he handled Bobby. I guess Bobby's game has dropped over the years/?

Anyway the next time Don head up to Quincy, there is a GOOD chance I will be hitting the pedal to the metal in my Challenger to go in against this guy we mentioned. The way Don talked he was good for $$$$ A day?

Don said he called and wanted some $$$$ action? I have not heard of the guy but find it hard to believe he could even beat Bobby?

I will call you this week.

Mark

Ought to be a good tournament.

Hey who is this guy that wants to play Crump? Which side of the fence are you on? Does that guy play better than Bobby? 12/12

12:30 auction?

the guy is not asking to play crump he is just 1 of them guys who if you show up and say the right thing . your in action .and as far as which side of the fence iam on its the side that will win you know that

Ask Sammy

They are accepting 64 players. There should be no problem getting in but you can call Sam at 217-228-1818 the morning of the tourney and get on the list.

The number is for his bar, not his personal cell phone.

you can call in like mark said or send your $$$$ and info to rack daddys 421 hampshire quincy il 62301 thanks

12/12

No better tournament in the midwest on that day.

Make your way to Rack Daddy's in Quincy Illinois............

1st place with auction was over 3000 bucks for a one day event.
2nd place was over 2000 bucks with the auction.

the 2 guys that played in the final had to come back Sunday but I am sure they did not mind for that payout difference. $1000 for a couple sets.
Cant beat it.

2 days??

I know that some do not care, and a race to nine on both sides is good, but there are more of us than you may think that do not like 2-day tournaments.
I will probably be there anyway since you have done such a good job picking the weekend to host this tournament.
Your 1st tournament, a race to 7, ended before you had to close, THAT WAS NICE.

Thank you for hosting a nice 9-ball tournament, they are hard to find these days.

thank you for the good coments. thier was a few reasons why i changed a few things. i also changed the starting time. i started it 1 hour later (because some people drive a long way gives them a chance to make it) also we have not filled up either (because it was on the same date as a close tournaments)so i think that we might fill up to around 64 players and if that happens it will be 2 days anyway so rather then try to hurry or push it to get done in 1 day we know what to exspect (if we fill up)the ones that are over for the 2cd day we be in the cash so hopefully the cash they win will take care of any inconvenience they may have :smile::smile: but iam just learning on what works and what to do. and trying to make all happy and thats hard to do thanks again
