Hi:

Would like to know who won the ladies snooker??? The site hasn't been changed and says that the score is 2 all and will be completed on Thursday...

Pls, help...

Wayne

ps - it was good to see Tom Finstad win his third Canadian Snooker Championship...its been 16 years...since the last one...

Anita Kuczma won... for the 6th year in a row. I'm not sure but maybe they played the finals on more than one day. After all, last years final did take close to 10 hours.

Cripe, how do ya like this four players bunched together

Jeff Kennedy vs -------|
Alain Martel | | ------
Jason Klatt | vs ------- |
Brad Golan

That is a brutal grouping.

No Edwin Montal, no John Horsefall, no Mike Vidas, no Nick Kruger, no PJ Masicotte, no Rick Marshal, ect.... Some of the best players in Canada are absent from what should be the best field of the year and the most prestigious tournament. Sad.

At least Tyler went.

Dark horse pick, Dave Martin.

FYI: Rick Marshall has quit playing pool. Pretty much quit 2 to 3 years ago, but now hes quit, and not interested in playing at all. He lives near me, about 20 minutes away and he comes in to see how I'm doing every once in a while. I've traveled to a few tourny's with him as well. I hope to see him pick up his cue again, but i think hes pretty much quit for good now.

I see that Brady Gollan is playing well, as usual. Hope to see him take off the whole tournament this year. Then the challenge of champions, then the WPC, Then the US Open, etc etcc.... hehe.

Does the winner of this tournament automatically qualify for the 2005 World Pool Championships,or is it the winner and runner-up? Thanks,RJ

Last year the first 3 players qualified (Martel, Hjorleifson and Jeff White) so I guess it's the same this year. Plus there is 2 invitations. This year it's Alex (of course) and Luc Salvas (always invited for the show he gives).

Womans Brackets?? Does anyone know where I can find them? Thanks,

Jay

Jay, as you no doubt know (AHEM) is still technically illegal in most civilised countries, so unless you want to spoil it for the rest of us you will just have to make your own.

Boro Nut

PS - expect a PM to see if you would like to join the (AHEM Nod-Nod Wink-Wink) club for a set of assembly instructions. Say no more.

Look out for Eric Hjorlefson, this guy can shoot great...finished second last year and then had a good finish at the US Open, I'm predicting his first national title this weekend. Tyler Edey seems to be on a tear on the one loss side too hopefully he keeps it up.

Anyone know who is starting to play right now as of the time of this post on the webcam?

I've been trying to figure who's playing also, I think it's for the hot seat. They should use the same scoreboard they did for snooker you could see the name etc.

The top four finishers represent Canada in the WPC next year they will be:

Harold Rousseau
M Roberts
N Guimond
D J McKinley

I get the feeling we won't be sending a very strong contingent next year.
