I am proud to announce that as part of the internet billiard forum community, members of the AZBilliards, CCBoard, and the OnePocket.Org forums will have the opportunity to vote for the upcoming 2006 Derby City Classic Louis Roberts Action and Entertainment Award.
This award goes to the person that is deemed to exemplify the meaning of action and entertainment throughout their attendance at the 2006 Derby City Classic. It could be as a player, backer, woofer, or all of the above.
In the past years, a "secret" handful of attendees have given their votes/opinions to Greg Sullivan, and a single player was chosen. The past recipients were very worthy of this honor.
As always, the ensuing discussion as to who was and should've been the recipient is always discussed on these boards. The internet billiard forum community as a whole has one of the largest collective voice in the media, and now we have the opportunity to have our say if we're going to discuss it here. In other words, our say counts.
So, with that in mind those that are going to attend the DCC are free to cast votes. I will setup a ballot box of sorts and it will be available. Hopefully, at the AZBilliards room, but at least somewhere on site. I already have my vision as to what goes on the ballot, including UserID, dates you attended, etc., but suggestions are welcomed.
You must be an active member with more than... 45 posts to any single board. Is that fair? I'm trying a number that eliminates hit-and-run posters. Also, spouses and significant others are ineligible to vote for their S.O. That's a request that I feel is fair to honor.
Best Regards and Good Luck to All,
Fred Agnir
