Cue is dead straight together and apart. Butt weighs 15.6oz, shaft 1 weighs 3.9oz and is around 12.5mm with a Moori medium tip and pad, shaft 2 weighs 4.1oz and is around 13mm with a standard tip and pad (prolly a Triangle or LePro). All white on the cue is ivory and it has two ivory ferruled shafts. Beautifully figured birdeye maple forearm with 4 incredible snakewood points and buttsleeve. The 4 veneer colors are black, purple, darker blue, lighter blue. A stunning brown lizard skin wrap that is flawless. Contains a piloted ivory joint with a 5/16 x 14 pin. The joint collars have maple dash rings with a purple veneer in between each one. The cue has been played with for about 1 hour of playing time, maybe less. You got a real bargain if Jim is building a cue of this spec for 1850. His pricing is $1500 for a plain 4 pointer 4 veneers, $300 for the ringtail lizard, $250 for the ivory joint and $75 for each ring (2 on shafts and 1 at the joint), and i don't know how much for the hoppe ring or if it was extra for the snakewood.

In my reckoning that makes a grand total of $2275 plus the hoppe ring so i dont think $2000 is a bad deal at all.

Good luck with the sale, somebody will get a real nice cue for a good price. I would be very interested myself but have just spent lots on some new cues so i will have to wait to buy more.

Your obviously not reading my description very carefully, I clearly state that there are two shafts. $2000 is already a bargain deal for this cue in my opinion, so that is my bottom price.

Killer Cue! also UK-Collector snakewood is also a upgrade along with the ring tail lizard wrap, the price from JW is more like $2,350. Barrosm's price is quite a bit off...... if his prices have been raised recently it would be even more! Weights, Snakewood and veneer colors make this a very desireable cue;)

Too true my man, too true!

If you want this cue jump on it now, it's not getting any cheaper. I am perfectly content to let this sit here and appreciate in value if there is no buyer ;) If you can find the same cue by the same maker cheaper go for it!

Cheers,
Jim

i agree, but where do u see the ringtail lizard?

I have shot a few with this cue.

I really liked it. It hits as solid as it is pretty.
Good luck and Merry Christmas
Nick :)

I'm in need of some cash with Christmas coming up and this cue is feeling like an outcast amongst all the Scruggs I have so I need to find it a good home. I'm giving this cue away for a firm price of $1775 shipped priority, if you want it come and get it. Add 3% if you want to use paypal.

Cheers,
Jim
