I am letting everyone know that the 2006 VA State 9 Ball Champioships will be held this year. I have a great deal going on in my life, thats why it's a little later than usual.

Specifics:

Date: July 22-23
Place: The Playing Field
Entry Fee: $60.00
Field: 64 players- VA and DC residents only! No Age Limit!
Sponsors: Parrot Cues and The Playing Field
The Winner receives paid entry into the 2006 U.S. Open plus some expenses!

Flyers will be in every poolroom in the state and DC by next week.

FYI... If you want to play, get your $ in ASAP. Last year, I had 8 people on a waiting list going into the tournament.

Looking forward to another year. Seeing some old friends, and making some new ones.

Damn, I don't meet the residency requirement and I can't play.

However, I will be there anyway, supporting those who can play.
This is a great tournament, in a great room, run by great people. How can you go wrong?

They need you behind the camera to capture the moments... you're not allowed to play in tournaments... you've proved yourself to be invaluable to capturing the events. ;)

Yes indeed!

We have a full field!

What a great feeling!

Josh,

I know you'll be busy, but maybe Rich can provide AZ some updates during the weekend extravaganza.

Hope all goes well, and keep smiling Mr. Mayor

Well I was there yesterday and I want to thank Josh and his support staff there for putting on a first class tournament. This was my first experience with this and I have to say I was impressed with how smoothly it went. Maybe next time I can be a bit more competitive.

Todd & Rayman at Parrot Cues where very helpful and I am sure everyone will agree. They took their time working on cues while also playing in the tournament. Everything I have read on this board in relationship to them is true…they are both very easy to talk to. And yes I did purchase a cue from them.

Brian and Rich it was a pleasure meeting you both and hopefully we will cross paths again soon.
