2008 HITT CUE #105 - $700.00

This is my first offering to the AZ Community. I wanted to build this design but was unable to interest anyone in the scheme. My patience ran out and I?m glad it did...it?s a good one...VERY SOLID, but as I like to say ... just my opinion...you be the judge. The pictures are not the best but Satisfaction is Guaranteed. If you are not completely happy; simply do me the courtesy of explaining why (within 3 days of receipt please) and I will cheerfully and promptly refund your money, less shipping, upon return receipt of the cue unmolested.

The 13? half-splice forearm frame is Padouk with 4 African Blackwood primary points over 4 Boise d?Arc secondary points and it's joined to a hard maple handle with Irish Linen wrap and a butt matching the forearm The joint is black phenolic with a 3/8? x 10tpi stainless pin. The rings are double, half-canted Boise d?Arc and black phenolic track style in the A, B, C, D, E positions and a black phenolic buttcap. The shaft is dense (26rpi), straight grained, air-dried, hard maple cut in the winter of 2002 and hanging in my shop since the 8th month of 2004; the joint is piloted and hand tapped, the 12.85mm ferrule is Ivorine III with a medium layered tip. The cue is straight - apart and together ? 59?, equally split between the butt ? 14.97oz and the shaft ? 4.26oz for a total weight of 19.23oz and a balance point at approximately 20?...a fine playing instrument.

Please feel free to call or PM with questions

Bump for a Local Guy.

Hittman its good to finally see you on here...Im trying to get some money together so I can come see you.

I have seen this cue in person and it is a nice stick. It hits well, just like the one he built for me (#94). Top notch craftmanship.

What does the word "bump" mean as used in this thread?
Bump (Internet)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

To bump a thread on an Internet forum is to post a reply to it purely in order to raise the thread's profile. This will typically return it to the top of the list of active threads.

Motivation

Many Internet forums show as their first page a list of the 20-50 topics or "discussion threads" most recently posted to. Someone wishing to keep a thread on this first page, or bring an old thread back to it will post a reply to it purely to do this. If they are open about this, the post may simply be the word "bump".

Discussions across forums are rarely isolated from conversations on other threads.

Old threads may be brought up if they are relevant among the conversations.
