FYI. The NJ State Jack Colavita Memorial state 14.1 championship tourney is being held a Comet Billiards the week prior to East Brunswick NJ.

Didn't know if that tourney was mentioned but its nice to see lots of 14.1 events being scheduled. :)

Just to mention, this is one of, if not the nicest room in north Jersey. Bill Haley is a great guy and always puts on great events.

Jack was a great player and a friend, he played in our Invitational tourney every year until his passing. The tournament at Comet is always a great event. Wish I could make time to go watch.

I believe that it's being held on Thurs/Fri 8/21-22. The drive to Comet would take roughly 45min from EB if i'm not mistaken.

Thanks for the info. I was planning on coming out on Friday. Unfortunately, I don't think I can take the extra two days off to come out Wednesday instead. Oh well. :)
 
Just want to second the sentiment that Comet is a beautiful room. I don't think I'll be able to take time off to get out there, but it's highly recommended if you can make it.
