Has anyone seen Kim Davenport play. We are from his poolroom in Marietta Ga and great fans. How's he playin?

Bryan Parks, from BAkersfield knocked Kim out yesterday. Kim had him down 7-2 and Parks came back. A very good win !!

2fer

If Mike D. wins.. I think that would make him the 1st person to win the Reno Open twice. I know nobody has won it back to back for sure. Go Mike D!!

Did anyone catch the argument between Corey and Stevie?

From the AZ headline.

Moore won a testy match with Corey Deuel to close his Saturday night. Deuel had been using his "control break" all event long and Moore made it clear early on that he was not going to sit in his chair and watch Deuel dominate the match with his break. Words were exchanged with Moore stating that he wanted to be outplayed instead of outracked and Deuel quickly answered that he was doing nothing against the rules in any way.

Scott Smith was brought in to handle the debate and Smith racked most of the games for the rest of the match. The dispute may have gotten the better of Deuel as he struggled with makeable shots and Moore went on to win 9-6.

Just wondering the details.

I left Reno on Friday but did see Corey play earlier in the week.

He racks in same pattern every time and given his soft break, balls seems to lie in same pattern (or close to it). He was down 3 games and won next 9 games straight. My guess is this is what the argument would be about.

Mike Davis came back from 7-2 deficit to beat Andam 9-7. He ran a 5 pack to tie the match at 7 before Andam got back to the table.

Mike Davis Wins Reno Open

After being down as much as 7-2, Mike Davis came back and won 9-7 for the $15,000 first prize................

I know this. I'm just trying to find out if he sharked Corey on purpose or not.

Why should Corey be penalized?
I'm gonna start a thread.

Mike Davis is maybe the most underrated player in the world. All he does is run out and play great pool.

People focus on his stroke but he's a champ. I hung out with him just a little while in Sacramento and he's a great guy- no bad attitude, likes to have fun.

I'm pretty sure Efren, Earl, and Sigel have won Reno at least twice. Probably one of those guys won two years in a row. I wouldn't be surprised if Sigel has won four or five times.
