2008 VA State 9 Ball Championships

Unfortunately I will be unable to attend the event this year. This is my last full weekend with my daughter before I take her back to South Carolina (plus I've played in tournaments for the past 4 weekends). Josh runs a great tournament and anyone who plays decent and lives in VA or DC should definitely attend. Thanks for including the DC folks. As my license plate says, "Washington DC, Taxation Without Representation". I just signed a lease today to move to Alexandria, VA, so if I play next year and get lucky enough to win the qualifier, I will truly be representing VA. JAM, you and Keith take care of the neighborhood in my absence.
 
As always, The Mayor ran a fine event. The brackets were on a laptop/ projector setup that not only displayed the brackets, but current match-ups and table assignments. A pic would describe it better, but you gets what you gets. Thanks to Mrs. Rich R. for running the boards. I don't think the pay was too great:smile2:

Notable early exits madde by Kressell & Clatterbuck; neither in the $.

2 of the above-mentioned played 3 ahead 1h for .5 of a sandbag at SIDE POCKETS @ 2 ahead, the room closed down :shocked2: :thud:
