I say C player. :p

Finally we get some truth here. To be honest, I do not like ratings very much so it really does not matter. Besides, I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to geico!!

Do you think you a are truly a 6 or 7? I was thinking 8 speed, considering you did take part in the king of 8's. I watched you play a little bit during that round robin.

I would say B player, which would be $50 entry. I wouldn't make you pay the 70$ since you are unrated, as i don't think that would be fair either. I believe Brady's evaluation and trust his judgment. If i'm mistaken, and you think a 7 rating is more accurate, please let me know and we will make some adjustments and have others evaluate your game. Just trying to be fair to everyone involved.

Dennis

Screw the rating's, I just want to play!!! I went to the first event you guys had last year at alexander's but I was asked about a ratings card when I tried to get info about the 8 and under side pot. Then I found out I did not have one even though I played in like 7 or 8 tourneys at kolby's and I decided to just be a spectator that day. Looking back at it now, I wished I would have just played but I was kinda pissed after driving 30 minutes to get there only to be given a hard time about a ratings card. I appreciate what you guys do Dennis and Jimmy and everyone else involved. I am looking forward to playing in as many events as possible this year instead of watching them on the internet. Lenny just lost a viewer! lol

The second I heard that I was Dominated the competitive juices started flowing and now I am going to play in the DCT events to learn what being dominated really is! Along the way, I plan on doing some dominating of my own!! Every dog has his day and I am waaaaaayyy over due!!!

I might bark like a yorkie but you bark like a cat. :p

Opening time?

I haven't read through all of the posts, so maybe this question has been asked already: does anyone know what time Kolby's will be opening their doors on Saturday?

The first stop of the Arizona Desert Classic Tour will be held on February 21/22, 2009 at Kolby's Corner Pocket in Tempe, Arizona. This will be a 1K$ added big table 8-ball event.

This is stop #1 of the 2009 season; therefore, all players will be required to pay the one-time $50 membership fee. Entry for this tournament will be staggered.

If you are from Arizona and currently rated, the breakdown is as follows:

A (10 or above)- $70 entry
B (8 or 9) - $50 entry
C (7 or below) - $35 entry

Sidepots are optional.

If you are not currently rated in Arizona, you will have to start out as an A player, until your play is reviewed. Depending on your playing ability, you may be rated A, B, or C for future tour events.

Please feel free to contact Jimmy Mendoza or I should you have any questions.

Dennis Orender

Tournament starts tomorrow - Saturday. Thought I would bump it for visibility.

First Event of 2009......Be there!
