They do this to prevent putting super teams together from different cities/states. And to promote the League System.
Find a lady in your area, whether she's in your league or not, and have her jump in and get qualified. There is barely enough time to qualify, so you have to act fast, or be left out.

I agree with the BCA not wanting a master team playing in the open division, but disagree having too be in the same league. I feel this would help promote more inter-league play and solidify the BCA ranking system. The lady I would like to play with plays in the SWEL (Southwest Eightball League) and I play in the DEL (Dallas Eightball League), all in the same house in Dallas. We are both open players and can't play together in Vegas because of this rule. I would like to see this rule changed too say if the two league administrator vouched for the players they would be eligible to play together and not penalized because of playing in separate leagues.
