The BCAPL Southwest Regional will take place Sept. 1-5 at the Fort McDowell Radisson in Scottsdale, AZ.

This year's changes and improvements:

$500 added Mixed Scotch Doubles Thursday 7PM

Thursday night Pool Party

$500 added AZ 6 and under singles

Reduced registration and late fees

Improved team events

Reduced hotel rates. Reduced $20 to $30 night. $89/night or $79 per night with package

On-line registration at CTSondemand.com

Dr. Cue on site all weekend with trick shots and more.

CSI/BCAPL has once again proved that it listens to the players. We invite you to come and experience this event and the beautiful Fort McDowell Resort.

I personally can't wait for this 2nd Annual Tournament. It looks like many of the kinks from last year were addressed and even a Scotch Division Added this year.

Now if we can just get all of the BCA League Operators in the Southwest to help promote this tournament, we could have one awesome event.

And don't forget this is at the Fort McDowell Casino which is an unbelievable venue nestled right in the Mountains!
 
An email has been sent to all AZ league operators. One was kicked back, so I will attempt to call her. Hopefully the word can spread and more can take part in the event this year. We had nearly 200 last year, I would like to see around 300 or more this year.

I printed a bunch of entry forms and gave all the info to my league players last night at the Captains Meeting!

Many people were very interested in the 6 & Under tournament and asked tons of questions.

I think with the low entry and the $500 added it will get a great turnout! But it still needs every league operator and room owner to promote the tournament!

It may be wise to book at least one night under the resort credit if you plan on dining there or if anyone is going to use the spa or other services.


I am still working on the pool party for Thursday evening. I will let you know when everything is finalized.
 
Dress Code at the 2011 BCAPL SWR

We are announcing nationally a new three level dress code policy with the BCAPL. Working on a more detailed press release now. However what this means for you fine folks who will attending the 2011 BCAPL Southwest Regional Championships is the following:

(BCAPL Dress Code C)

- All other items in the standard BCAPL dress code will be enforced with the following exceptions that are allowed under dress code C:

1. Matching team shirts ARE NOT required.
2. Shorts and t-shirts will be allowed.

Applicable to all dress codes however, all appearal must be neat, clean, un-torn, and tasteful.

You would have to become a player member through the national office.
Cost is $25 Restriction: Can not play teams
 
Time for a bump. Hope everyone is enjoying the summer. This tourney will come up fast. Hotel reservation deadline is only about 4 weeks away. (August 9, 2011)
