we are almost full for the 9ball event, and over half way there on the 8ball event, dont wait to call and or send entry fees in. its gonna be a good one.

I'm looking forward to playing in both of these events.

Last year I had a great time even though I could have played better.

Splitting your time between doing commentary and playing competive pool is like explaining to your wife why you need to go to a pool tournament for four days. There's an art to it and it seems I'm getting better at it. :D

sorry everyone but the nine ball event is full, you can give me your name and we can put you on the waiting list , if some one cancels or doesnt show up we will fill those spots.

we still have spots open in the 8ball event. we will be taking entry's up until the deadline of april 16th at noon..

Filling up the 9 ball TWO MONTHS in advance is awesome. If you've been to this event, it is easy to see why it it gaining in popularity.

Glad to hear that those who didn't make it into the 9 ball event, still have a chance to sign up for the 8 ball event.

Joel Pope of www.last4ever.net tip tool fame has donated some excellent door prizes for this event and will receive some nice advertisement at the event.

Maybe some other potential sponsors might want to contact Ray Poitra to have a banner around the tv arena if it isn't already full.

This is a very nice size event with some event participants traveling 2,000 miles to get there.

I purchased one of Joel's aluminum last4ever tip tools and it is a superior tip tool device. In fact, I am ordering another one to put in my local pool room's case for them to sell because I am quite frankly, tired of other people using mine practically everyday. I don't mind helping out once in a while but every day....give me a break. :grin:

If you find another tip tool better than the one Joel makes, you should buy it. I haven't found one better. He's even got video instruction on how to use them.

Some people at 4Bears Casino are going to be REAL HAPPY if they win this door prize, I GUARANTEE.

yea chad, you and john are in both 8 and 9, he sent entrys for larron and morris but the 9ball was already full, and he said when we talked that he didnt know if they were playing the 9 , so they are only in the 8 and will be refunded the 9ball entrys.

i would like to thank joel pope for the door prizes, we are still looking for door prizes to be given to players, or items to be donated that we can use to raffle . anything would be greatly appreciated. we do have advertising space on the tournament floor and around the live stream area still availible, any one wanting to advertise let me know, you dont need to donate to advertise we are here to help, so if you are pool or billiard related let me know.

Hi Ray.... just curious as to our room situation..... John and I as well as 2 lady players were going to be there wed evening.... just checking if we have a room for that night or if we can get 2 rooms that night. Thanks in advance.

My goal for this year is to find somewhere I can go to eat pheasant. If I have to kill one on the side of the road and cook him on a spit, I'm willing and able to do that too. It's been over 30 years and that's just too long to go without eating a pheasant.

If anyone has a suggestion for a restaurant that serves pheasant in New Town, ND, please let me know.

He didn't need a dog. He had me. I was about 8 years old.

I'll never forget, a deer jumped out in front of the car. I had no seat belt on, in fact i don't think there was even one in the car back then.

I was resting my head on the dash on my hands looking for pheasant.

I had on a blue and white stocking cap. it was pretty thick.

I hit that windshield like a rocket, breaking it with my head.

I remember it hurt pretty bad at the time.

If it we'ren't for that stocking cap there might not have ever been any Perfect Aim.

You know something funny. I never ate pheasant because when my dad was cleaning them they smelled so bad I didn't even want to try one.

If somehow I get to Four Bears I would enjoy seeking out a pheasant dinner with you Mr Joey A.

I'm sure that they must taste allot better than that smell that I remember.
 
If you are traveling through Minot on your way to the tournament you might want to stop at a restaurant called 10 North Main. It has Pheasant Marsala on the menu and some other things like Duck, Elk, and Bison. It is co-owned by actor Josh Duhamel who grew up there. Sorta fancy for Minot, but it gets pretty good reviews. They have a Facebook page if you want to check it out.
