2013 4bears 8ball classic 10k added

If you are traveling through Minot on your way to the tournament you might want to stop at a restaurant called 10 North Main. It has Pheasant Marsala on the menu and some other things like Duck, Elk, and Bison. It is co-owned by actor Josh Duhamel who grew up there. Sorta fancy for Minot, but it gets pretty good reviews. They have a Facebook page if you want to check it out.

That is AWESOME! Thank you so much for sharing that information. I will see if I can log that info into my new smart phone.

Tried calling them just now. They open at 5 pm, that doesn't leave a big window for me to stop there. I checked their online menu and they have some "wild" items but no pheasant Marsala listed. Thanks for the effort. I'll try to call them later but the 5 pm thing may not be any good for me.

The Pheasant Marsala is listed under pasta for some reason.

Ahhhhhh! Thanks! Still, the 5 pm thing has me concerned.
We'll see if there is any other possibilities. Maybe I can return later that evening. Regardless, I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

THIS is the way tournament promoters should advertise their payouts and record the costs for playing.

These are some HUGE numbers. Thanks for posting last year's numbers!

I like putting the players' names out there as well because I know there are people out there who have competed against these winners in other tournaments.

I'm traveling to compete in this event and it only takes 27 hours to drive there, without taking any pit stops.

Lu Hui-Chan will be at this event.

Yeah, Lu is the same guy who beat Dennis Orcullo in the China Open in the FINALS, last year. Lu was required to beat Dennis twice but only managed to do it once.

Lu has also beaten Mark Haddad and Mark is the guy who won last year's 8 ball event.

My, oh my, oh my, what is going to happen to this Calcutta?

This is turning out to be a star-studded field.

4 bears 8ball classic

Players from all over the world coming to four bears 8ball classic, coming to New Town North Dakota, who would of ever thought this little town on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation would produce a tournament like this? wow. I was sitting here thinking , Damm this tournamnet has grown alot .

when i was asked to be on the committee and said yes, i thought to myself lets make this a big tournament, { well its big}, lets have professional players come. i asked the committee and they agreed, they said let the pros come.... maynard demeray said his brother kelley demeray who the tournament was started for as a memorial after he passed away would of wanted the best here and would of played the best...

professional and great players have come or will have attended in the last couple of years , players like shane vanboening, jeanettee lee, brandon shuff, john morra, jefff beckley, stevie moore, mike massey, tom rossman, ga young kim, joey A. to name a few,

and payouts and calcutta are some of the best in the country.

anyway i hope everyone who attends has a good time...plays good... and makes the money. dont know how much longer i will do this, its alot of work.

see everyone at the tourney
