This years Mosconi Cup will be one that you will never forget. The media, players and fans are fired up about it. The stands will be full. We have a living legend and my hero there for the first time. The Rifleman himself, Buddy Hall. He is the greatest player that I have ever played against (I have played many). You know their fans will be very vocal so our fans need to be very vocal too. But in a respectful manner. No matter what happens we are gonna have a lot of fun this year. If you can get to Vegas this December and cheer you country and players on. I promise you that you won't be disappointed. Now let's go kick some European as**s. I will see you there. GO USA!!!! Thanks, Johnny Archer

This is the attitude we all need for our beloved sport. I will be there for the first time ever and am bringing some buddies who have never even heard of it....can't wait to see the look on their faces.

USA USA USA!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really looking forward to this year's Mosconi Cup. It's a fun event.

Johnny,
You don't know me and probably don't want to but I have good friends that know you including the irrepressible "fat Albert". I've always admired your game and your tenacity. I also used to back Earl in his darkest days; profit margin was a little thin. I'm really a half assed player but I love the game. All that aside when I was younger I took every opportunity to watch Buddy Hall play. On a couple occasions he looked at me as if he thought I was stalking him. Not so. However, I was stalking his style. His simple and economical use of the proper route to position and his smooth mechanical stroke fascinated me. I tried for years to emulate the hesitation in his backstroke. No luck. I think it's a crying shame that he hasn't been involved in the Mosconi cup before. I vigorously second your analysis of him as being perhaps the greatest nine ball player ever. This has to enhance our chances against these precocious upstarts. I wish you and your teammates smooth rolls and the very best of luck. Let's send these wankers back to the land of true decadence stinging. USA ALL THE WAY.

Why wouldn't Johnny want to know you? I think you're aces, even if you do drive a hooptie. ;) (sorry for the handprints on your hood 2 nights ago, I have pic's to prove it wasn't me, you gotta see the poses, the cops thought it was impressive too, lmao)

Matt, Matt, Matt, you and I both know that if I picked up a cue for about 20 minutes in the next couple weeks I could send you home crying to the PinkLady. You really can't even spell one hole. Perhaps we'll play again next week and I'll drive my junk car so you won't be so starstruck and hey guess what, we can maybe bet something for a change. And by the way, please bring that rough shafted wanabe Palmer of yours, my Gus is hungry.

With all the talk about who the 5th player will be on the team this year I have to ask, why can't Buddy play? The Mosconi Cup is pressure packed and you won't find a cooler customer than Buddy. I had to ask and I Hope I'm not out in left field with this question. I like Buddy and who ever the 5th player named to the team is will they be better under pressure than "the Rifleman"?

Don't know if I love lamp more or less than you John. Imma gonna flip for it, just after I buy some 00000 brillo. :D My window is always open for you my friend.

I hate this will be my 1st Open without your sage, jaded, funny insight at my side. However, I hope you can make it to the Cup and watch Johnny and Co "send them wankers home all stung up". (love that line of yours)

This Cup promises to be the event of the decade.

Actually Matt, you're the best (at least as a person), a good friend, good player and a hell of an all-around super guy. Ah well, I guess I'll try to come in next week and let you beat on me some more but you know me and my pocket is not shallow, I do like to gamble. My best to you and your lady. Hopefully see you next week. Stay pure. So much for Manlove, you really are just a wanker with a hot mama.

Hey Johnny,

Do you know when the final team member will be announced? Everybody thinks it will be Earl, but that hasn't been publicly confirmed.
