I have sent a couple emails to Allen and JR but haven't recieved a responce maybe someone here knows the answer. What type of racks will be used for the ameteur open? Thanks, Steve
 
Probably el cheapo plastic racks like always. If they put out something nice they would probably get stolen. Sad, but true.
 
Actually if the winner of the match has to turn in the rack with the score of the match this would eliminate any theft
 
Allen leaves the tables open all the time. Before the days events begin and after. Any decent racks would disappear.
 
Ive actually ben going to SBX for the past ten or so years and there have ben nice racks throughout the years.I foget what they had last year but i do recall them having diamond racks and then this huge rack that actually had these legs that came off the back and extended to the back rail to make sure the the rack was straight
 
This is my 5th year that I'm going, and they used this rack with the Mueller's logo 3 years out of 4. I believe one year they have a different rack sponsor, or maybe they were afraid of people stealing the rack; the rack was huge. Muellers sells them at the event for $2 or less. I usually buy a few, stick them in the car because they're actually quite good, and better than the majority of the plastic racks that I encounter. If I leave it behind or lose them, I won't cry or sweat as much as if I lost a piece of kamui.

If there was a high theft rate, Slug Doctor would probably be a good fix. Just stick down the dots, and there is nothing to steal.
